Roleplay:
Kagetora walked around. He had purchased some ground for his clan, but he was still the only one.
Bored...I got it! I should go find Mika! He strolled towards the training ground. He hadn't been there for quite a while, and the last time was when he was learning Body Replacement. He spotted Mika a mile away, her violet hair streaming behind her.
As far as he was concerned, his infatuation with her was over. Finally over, he was once more released into having the ability to be indifferent about everything. She seemed to be training taijutsu, he noticed as he approached. She finally noticed him, and he greeted her with a friendly wave.
“Hey Tora! Still not a Chuunin?!” she smirked and he scowled. It was true, he had still not become a chuunin despite having finally applied and gotten Amnael’s approval.
“Shaddup, Murasaki,” he said, calling her by the color of her hair. “You wouldn’t last 2 minutes against me!”
“Oh yeah? That’s big coming from a genin, let’s go!” she grinned, pulling out two kunai.
“Alright, I’ll go easy on you,” he gave a sly smile. “Go!”
He disappeared and Mika looked around, wondering where he went.
“Boo.” He was now behind her, with two fingers on her neck, with a look that said is-that-all-you-got. Mika’s lips parted and she said, “Just Kidding,” disappearing and reappearing behind him.
“Haha. Looks like you’ve got me,” he said, voice dripping with sarcasm. “I really should just give up now right?” He grinned and disappeared into a puff of smoke. Mika felt the ground underneath her feet collapse and she fell downward. She was caught by Kagetora and put down.
“What’d you know? A minute and thirty-two second.”
She wore the same expression a dog wears when it’s hungry.
“I refuse to accept I cannot beat
you!” She lunged towards him, seemingly crazed at the thought of surrender. Kagetora lazily stepped back and her swipe missed. This continued on for a while, till they were in the middle of a place where leaves covered light, day was covered by night and everything but trees were out of sight. Mika panted, finally giving up, plopping down on the mossy grass. She looked like she was going to cry.
“C’mon now, it’s not a big deal Mika…” She jumped up and put him in a headlock.
“Haha! Got you now sucker!” she cried triumphantly attempting to move him.
“Ehh… That’s what I thought…” he said, stepping from behind a tree, grinning. “Like you’d ever cry about something as trivial as that.”
“Wait… you don’t know Kagebunshin… then what the hell am I holding?”
She looked down, only to see a rather large dog.
“Don’t… tell… me… you went all the way to the village in less than 1 second…?”
“Konoha’s White Flash,” he said, watching her expression.
“I give up…” she said. “Just kidding!” =
She lunged at him and he stepped to the side, and she landed in some bushes.
“Geez haven’t you heard of gentleman’s conduct?” said Mika, getting up from the bushes. “Ow, f*ck!”
Kagetora quickly turned around to see what happened, something made the bush catch fire, and Mika was backing away as fast as she could.
“Heal me!” she pouted, holding up a burned hand.
“Call uncle,” he said laughing, “You know you want to.”
“Fine,” she said lamely, as he began tending her wounds.
Kagetora suddenly felt something, an aura, obviously powerful, though not human or beast. He finished up with Mika’s hand, and got up. “Mika, wait here or go back to the village, I’m going to be a while.”
“But… I’ll go with you!” she said with a longing look. Obviously she had seen Kagetora’s reaction to what seemed like absolutely nothing.
“No. This could be dangerous; I have no clue what I’m dealing with.”
He left her kneeling there, watching him walk into the forest.
Alright.. I’ll just use Body Replacement to get around… He zoomed around the forest, feeling the aura getting stronger and stronger. Suddenly it tickled his nerves.
It’s nearby… He saw something that was neither brown nor green, and slowed down. He walked towards the object, just lying in the dirt. However, it showed no signs of being dirty. He picked it up, only to realize they were gloves, and there were two. He put them on, and yelped, though there was no pain. They had wrapped themselves around his hands.
What a great find. He smiled, feeling the gloves true power flow through him.
