Its whatever half you say... but its either the half of your speed, or the half of your opponents speed....

If the number rolled randomly hits a number assigned to your opponent, the result falls in his favor, may it be a miss or a hit.

so if the numbre is under 50 its a hit and over it aint

The sample was 2 players with 1 player had 5 speed and the other player had 10 speed..., clear yet jere or do I have to repeat?

The higher your speed level, the better chance the random roll will fall in your favor.

As far as we know how to miss roll, we go to the next lesson, damage calculation.

Most jutsus pump up speed or damage to make a more effective damage result.

Example. Karon attacks with Fire Whip (N/W) attack x Jutsu power + Speed, 25 damage each turn to enemy as well which I will assume to understand the computation... I color coded it so it be more understandable.

Karon stats
Attack : 27/100
Defence : 27/100
Speed/Agility : 27/100
Jutsu Power : 27/100
Hand Seal Knowledge : 27/100

atk(27)+jut(27)+spd(27)=81(Potential damage)

the 81 potential damage will be random rolled
Random number (1,81) :
7


Yume also included the 'critical damage' where random roll will roll 2, 1 being successful critical hit, 2 being a miss
Random number (1,2) :
2


So whatever come out of potential damage roll will be multiplied by 1.5 if critical roll lands on 1

If the critical roll would have landed on 1, the 7 from damage roll would have been multiplied by 1.5

7x1.5=10.5

Jere would have incurred 10.5 damage... but since it landed on 2, jere only takes 7 damage.
