Recent Ban of Anti Justified?

Many have probably noticed the recent activity, or shall I say, inactivity, of the infamous Anti. Anti was the previous Head-Admin of the forum, but recently took a big turn for the worse and has turned to fights and flaming of the staff and members. His recent insults have been turned on Kairai Eki and NarutoReincarnate (Hazirami).
Anti has recently attacked our forum creator, Eki, with insults of his recent endeavors, the latest of which was the promotion of myself (NarutoReincarnate) to admin, his accusations of Eki not placing him on the ballot in the first vote, though true, have been insulting and hurtful not only towards Eki’s, but towards the forum’s reputation. Regardless of the insults, Eki reserved the right to choose whether or not Anti should be on the ballot. Anti also chose to take the oprotunity to become a newspaper editor, but when he was turned down for his first article, he chose to write another article to insult Eki and myself personally. Hazirami/NarutoReincarnate makes it to Administrator, is it right?

Many people have made complaints about this recent event. When you see the poles on the election for the recent Administrator case, you will see Hazirami totally obliterated the competition. However, you can see people starting topics creating huge petitions against this decision. Hazirami won the election very easily against his competition: winning against the fired admin Anti, and Gan Ning, and last but not least Uchiha Sasuke. Hazirami gave a speech April 29th saying “ Im a jerk, but I like to joke around, but I’d never go as far as messing with somones account”.
After the election Anti was said to be a “Poor Sport” because he kept making rants about the election not being fair. Eki confessed to Anti’s name not being on the ballot, but Eki came back saying it was a glitch in the system. After a second re-run, Anti was even more disappointed because he lost by even more. Eki announced, “ Anti, I think your just mad because you have not won the election for the 2nd time”, is this right? Many people have agreed with this, and this is probably the final decision. Although Hazirami’s Adminship may be temporary, I am considering keeping this permanent for Hazirami is a great and helpful Admin..

Tinnie 'Quitting'?

A recent tragedy has occurred, the most creative designer has made a threatening post titled “QUIT”. Many people are worried including me for the loss of Tinnie, yet so few are excited for a chance to shine. Tinnie’s announcement has not yet been proved final. Although the sorrow has spread through the whole forum, people are trying to “bribe” Tinnie into staying active. Rumors have been spread that Eki was going to fire Tinnie because he wasn’t active enough, and because the case with Anti. I think that this should be stopped and the rumor starter should confess. I hope Tinnie changes his mind in quitting, because he is a well trusted admin, who has been known to all.

7th Annual Chunnins Exam!

The 7th annual Chunnin exams have started on May 7, 2008. For the lucky four who got to sign up in time, the contestants are: the puppet mistress KaiRai Haruo, Siara (Her nickname: Killerkorn), Maria Konoshi, and Jeremyjh. The written tests will begin The 7th of May. With the New leader NarutoReincarnate/Hazirami will add new, strict rules to the Chunnin Exams. Part two of the Chunnin exams have ended, out of the five, three will progress more. The first round Siara/Killerkorn and Jeremyjh were disqualified for not responding for the test and not meeting the time limit.

Administrators and Battle Moderators

Lately we have seen challenge after challenge that has been neglected by able Administrators to monitor and judge for experience and what other gains one is entitled after defeating another character. This seemed to have become the norm as more members of the Administration seem to neglect their responsibilities in one way or another. Some members have tried to call their attention to the problems with private messages but they have yet to respond to them. It is this writer’s humble opinion that most Administrators have become quite lazy to their duties as to who should the responsibility of moderating battles lay.

It is because of this apparent laziness that players have become uninterested and angered which also reflect to the ‘fun’ quality to the game in general. This game was supposed to be fun oriented, and lately has become more self oriented. Administrators and Moderators should not be selfish but rather take the initiative to put their needs aside and prioritize the needs of others. It is not the place of a writer to give judgment or opinion as to what the Administration must do to resolve this issue, but perhaps a reconstitution of responsibilities are in order. Delegate the responsibilities to those that may have the time for it.

Uchiha Clan Population Explosion

There are too many players that claim to be Uchiha clan members in the game. Understandably, the Uchiha clan is very popular and most role players come into the game wanting to be part of such an illustrious family. Despite the fact, this game is set 50 to 100 years after Naruto’s death which begs the question, where did they all come from? Recently the Uchiha clan had exploded despite the fact that last tally revealed that there were only two surviving clan members and they have yet to reveal their offspring dissent. The apparent popularity of the clan has prompted its over population and this must be given serious attention.

Uchiha clan, as it is, is a very powerful clan which easily can be misused and abused within the game dynamic. The number of clan members must be monitored as it will not be very practical to have 40% of the player base members having ‘Uchiha’ as their last name. For originality’s sake, there must be a limit. Sasuke being one of the remaining 2 is an apparent candidate as to how the clan has propagated through the years, but players must be mindful of how they are related to him to create logical historical backgrounds for their made characters.

Connections

We all want to walk through the Naruto universe and this is only another way to saver the experience even more. I have recently personally suggested that this forum create a connection or family tree, as it were, from the Hokage, Senseis, down to their individual Students under each to have a clearer view of how characters are connected to each other. This will also organize each Sensei to their respective students and will clear the hierarchy structure of the game all the more apparent. You will now be able to see your place within the larger picture. The structure will include your character only if you have been proven as a strong member of the forum.

I consider each and every one of their articles to be great! But I may be biased, seeing as how each of them are my close friends. But, I did like how each article was written.

And if I have to choose between them, I'd have to say that Maria's articles were the best.
