Heartbreak season

The end of spring, right about the time where new relationships spring up before the summer. But lately, it seems like the time for couples to break up. Two exclusive couples have broken up and it seems like a third may be coming soon. I’m here to find out what happened in these heartbreaks.

I sat down to interview Inuzuka Bao recently, he was the man in the relationship with Maria Konoshi, the two recently broke up and I’d like to find out more about it.

Q: “What happened on the night that you first began to fight with Maria, please explain it to me in details.”

A: “Well, me and Gan Ning were talking about City of Heroes(a game), and then Maria calls us a nerd, then i say "remember, im your nerd, Maria" and then she replies "No, your Natalie's nerd.". So then she started to bring up Natalie and stuff about her and me.”

Q: “That forum was Naruto High School correct? And Natalie just so happens to be Kelsey on this forum. Correct?”

A: “Yes, and Natalie is one of Kelsey's roleplay characters on NHS, just like Bao is one of my Roleplay Characters there also.”

Q: “Did you think she would break up over such a small thing, I mean, how do you think it escalated to this?”

A: “Well, I asked her if she was going to break up with me and she "Perhaps" and that’s when I started to freak out. I even told her that I was dating Natalie on the other forum and she seemed okay about it, she even said "Just don’t leave me on NNRPG" and i said "Don’t worry, I wont leave you."

Q: “But don't you think true relationships are made from trust? Why would you freak out over such a vague answer if you thought she loved you?”

A: “Why I freaked out is because I loved her, and I tend to freak out when I find out the other person doesn’t like me the same way back. and yes, true relationships are made from trusting the other person.. But I sent an invitation to Maria a long time ago to join the forum, but then days went past and I even planned on being with her on the other forum, but I got tired of waiting.. then that’s when I screwed things up.”

Q: “And do you feel bad about her decision, or do you feel like its your fault alone?”

A: “I wouldn’t blame her for leaving me, it was all my fault and mine only, I screwed everything up between us, just for doing that. I even explained to her that they aren’t even the same Bao's! I used the name so the people from this forum, that signed up on NHS, know who I am. Just different roleplay characters for different forums.”

I sat down with Maria later to find that her views were far different from Bao’s, but in the end they both blamed Bao for the break-up. But my job was made easy when she answered all my questions in one answer. Here is what she had to say.

“Well, I first saw on the other website that Bao was with another girl. He kept on flirting with her and never left her alone, that is what made me realize. Me and Gan both went on that website and went on a date to make Bao jealous for revenge. But then he freaked out at me for doing it, he started scolding me. So that’s why I decided to FINALLY break up! This relationship was over a long time ago. That is why I always ignored Bao's annoying comments. "Love ya!" That’s so gross, Bao is so gross. He needs to get a life, and maybe love a girl for real life that will actually love him back. I never really loved Bao, he was just there... He was the one who wanted me, I was not the one who wanted him. In other words, he loved without being loved back. I wanted to break up with him long ago, but the time was never just right! I felt how Kurayami felt, violated, sickened, and abused. He treats everyone that he is far more important then them. "Sigh" That is the most annoying thing from him! And I also hate how he is so depressed about his Ashley! That was 3 fricken years ago, tell him to get over with it and stop being such a pussy. I hate it when he says the same lines over every single day! I hate it when he is always depressed and tries to ruin everyone else’s time. And I especially hate that I don’t hate him.

I was always worried how drastic Bao would go over the supposedly online relationship. I thought he would end up killing himself. I guess he is not that phsyco, and I see already he is licking another girls cheek. But I don’t really care, I am happy to finally be single again! I thought he would never understand.

This may sound cold, but it is the truth. It’s the path that I follow. My problem is that I may alienate my friends by putting perfectionism ahead of relationships.”

Bao has been devastated by the break-up, but it seems as though he has gotten over it because he is already with a new girl, even though he doesn’t wish to speak about it in public. Maria has tried to publicize the break-up by telling the people that she wouldn’t speak with Bao again, and that she would rather not work with him either. Though this is the major break-up, there were two other break-ups between Kelsey and Gan Ning, and NarutoReincarnate (Myself) and previous head admin Kurayami.

A Peek into the Admin Lounge

This is a new segment that I would like to try, its called A Peek into the Admin Lounge, every new issue of the newspaper will have a new segment allowing the people to see what is really happening inside the Admin Lounge and what work the admins have in store for the site. Lately there have been quite a few ideas coming from the head of the new head admin, NarutoReincarnate (Myself). Here are a few of the ideas.

Admin Jobs- Recently, many people have noticed the unorganization of admin jobs. Many admins would be modding a battle and then suddenly a new admin would come in and mod the battle instead. I decided that to better organize the jobs, I was going to assign specific jobs to specific staff members. So far, the plan has not been finalized, but I’m looking towards finally organizing the staff.

Village Usergroups- I was looking around on the village forums when I realized that it allowed people from other villages to peak into the village forum of an enemy village. I proposed that we close out all of the village forums to members and put the members of their own village into a usergroup, it would allow a member only to see the forum of their village. It makes it more secretive and much harder to spy on other villages. This idea has been accepted and look forward to seeing it implemented in the future.

Forum Buttons- I’ve decided to help our advertising of the forum, that we create buttons and banners that would show off our site, all a person would have to do is click on the banner/button and viola, they’re here at our site. The banner’s and button’s are currently being made and soon, with the help of forum members, we’ll be seeing many more members on the forum.

Staff Paychecks- Come this time of the month, staff members will finally receive the bonus they deserve, for all their hard work, they’ll be receiving a paycheck, the amount of ryo earned hasn’t been decided, but it has been agreed upon that there will be a paycheck coming to the staff members.

New Experience List- Many people may have noticed that the old experience rule for leveling up has changed. The old rule was that the exp needed to gain next level was previously 100 x the current level, so someone who was level 24 would need to gain 2,400 exp to get to level 25, but there is a new list for exp, and it is a set list. Someone at level 24 would now need to gain 7,600 exp, this new list makes it much harder to level, and the previous rule allowed people to level up after every battle, this new “set” list forces us to have to fight multiple battles to gain levels and makes the gain of a level much more satisfying. This new rule is being implemented currently, but whether the experience for certain levels is changed has yet to be determined.

Mori New Makikage
The Mori's most recent good'ol Makikage has finally left his years behind. Every single one of the Mori's Makikages brought great determination that would rain over its great trees. The most recent Kage lead the destined Mori against the furious, powerful Akatsuki. In a long, fabulous fight. The Akatsuki finally obliterated the Mori, leaving it shattered. Bao Inuzuka decided his time was up, his terrible decisions only lead to the Mori's downfall. "I know I am one of the laziest Admins around, and I dont want to screw everything up again" Bao said as he left the seat as Makikage. The new Makikage was a rightous and determined 'Women'. Her name was Maria Konoshi, and she proudly took the seat as Makikage. Rumors were still heard that she was going to join the Akatsuki.

Annuel Misu Yochi Pe-gento
Finally the season has sprung. For those girls who always strived on looking good while doing anything. The time has come! Thats right, its time for those good-looking girls to shine! Its time to show your friends that all your manicures and pedicures really have paid off. The contest started May 23, 2008. So come over and see how the contestants all role out. This annual event was dedicated to Eki-San's mother, in honor of her birthday. This fabulous event will seperate the 'hawt', from the SEXY! The contestants are: Sabrina Retsu, Haruo KaiRai, Maria Konoshi, and Karon Inuzuka.

Mori vs Akatsuki
The Mori went against the Akatsuki in a major village battle. This battle lasted merely three weeks. Yet many important people were routed by the Akatskui. This battle only consisted of four main officers, which one on the Akatsuki's side abandoned the battle. The great ruler of the Akatsuki, Eki, Obliterated both, at the time, Makikage Bao Inuzuka, and the Makikage's first lady Maria Konoshi. Rumors have been said that Eki has been persuading people to join the Akatsuki, this seems to be very special, because not everybody can enter the Akatsuki. The Mori's Kage was forced to pay a huge peace fine, and the Mori was downgraded.

Hirashi Clan
The Harashi clan has been discovered by the continental officials. Axeldin, who is a Harashi bloodline member, was seen using odd jutsu's that have never been seen before. Missions were sent to try and figure out what this fellow was using. After many exams, and tests, the Harashi clan was finally discovered by Axeldin. Axeldin is the only known Harashi bloodline member. Many say that there are probably millions that have this bloodline trait, but they themselves do not know. I think that this would be very great to add another power amongst all the other bloodlines, it is an amazing discovery. This was inscripted for the Harashi, "The Hirashi clan has hidden in the shadows waiting for their turn to bring them self to the light. This clan specializes in causing particles of light to make weapons and tools. This clan can also use the power of the sun to cause foes to shrivel and dry up. The Hirashi clan is supposivly the alter-ego of the Nara clan". I think that maybe ordinary civilians should get there bloodlines checked, in that case, many more of these kind could be found. And it can balance itself within the other clans power.

Values Education

It is always good practice to remember that what you give is what you receive. This also applies in role play administration that if you treat others with respect and courtesy, they will also return the favor.

What are the messages our leaders are sending our members and new recruits by their actions and statements?

One, that it is all right to ignore people as long as you have an excuse, “Im busy”.
Two, that if you get caught, just say ‘I am sorry’ without proper reprimand or reprisal.
Three, if you get found out before an anomalous event is finalized, cancel it. No harm no foul.
Four, if there is a critic, discredit him.
Five, if the critic is persistent, go ahead and do him in.
Six. If you get found out doing him in, deny, you are innocent until proven guilty.
Seven, if you have to go to court after having been found out, that is okay. Court cases are bogus to say the least.
Eight, if the court rules against you, unless it is with finality, spin it to your favor.
Nine, if the criticism continues, then it must be political.
Ten, when all else fails, suspend Anti for 2 days.

This pattern of behavior among leaders destroys two things that form the fabric of good governance: gaming values and a system of democratic practices.

What do we teach our members given this type of leadership? When accountability that is demanded is blocked by executive privilege... Dishonesty cannot be good governance.

Above all, these are the values that must be held in priority. Honesty and integrity, Responsibility, Respect of others, Love of the game! As the rain must trickle down from the higher ground to lower lands, so should these values start to be practiced from the top to the bottom of the administive ladder.

New Hokage Election

Hidden leave village (Konoha) is recently lost its leader and now elections have been started to find the new Kyudaime (Ninth) Hokage. Currently two candidates have sprung up, namely NR and Aigoro, both very willing and able. NR has been Hokage before and was succeeded by the recently vacating Kage, Yume while Aigoro is new and an amateur compared to his fellow candidate NR.

Rules state that only villagers from Konoha that have exceeded level 5 may be able to nominate candidates and for Hokage, but currently, both NR & Aigoro have only one significant vote each. They have yet to receive their second nominations to officially become candidates for the prestigious title, Hokage of Konoha. Nominations deadline was set until next week which more or less means everyone has only five days to nominate their favored candidates.
