| ELECTIONS HAS BEGUN! By Kurowashi Aigoro
An important event in Konoha’s history has begun. It is time once again to elect a new Hokage in response of the previous Hokages alleged decision to defection to the Akatsuki. No one knows why the previous Hokage decided to leave his post and ignore his sworn duty to Konoha, but alas... all good things must come to an end.
Currently, the election ballot reads three nominees, namely; Hazi, Yume, and Aigoro. Despite that there were only two legal nominees, some Konoha villagers couldn’t accept the fact that the previous Hokage, Yume, was leaving and still included his name within the nomination ballot. In a surprising development, Yume himself announced his support and voted for his ideal successor, Aigoro. In a gesture of camaraderie, Aigoro then voted for Hazi, but this was met with a totally defying protest on Hazi’s part and said that he would stand clear from the elections, sighting that it was unfair for the previous Hokage’s vote to count as legal.
Current voting statistics reflect that Aigoro leads the tally by 2 votes while Hazi has 1 vote for a close second. Yume on the other hand has yet to acquire a vote.
Rules state that only Hokage villagers with a level rank above 10 may cast their votes for Hokage, much to the dismay of most of the villagers. Even though their votes were ignored, some still cast their votes, and the popular vote seems to go to Hazi. Voting deadline was announced to be a week after May 27, 2008.
Minding the shop by Kurowashi Aigoro
Players have been in agony with the recent Sensei shortage and lack of ways of leveling up and acquiring new jutsus. It is for this reason that much of the players which have enough money to simply buy their jutsu’s at the market which might be simpler but all the less satisfying. We are currently learning that recently, no one is also minding the shop...
More and more players have posted their desired jutsu’s to buy and less and less moderators have been found to notice enough to update their character status’s. Unlike the Trial of Gods and the Chunin/Jounin exams, no one was left in charge of updating the Jutsu Shop.
We only hope this trend do not worsen as more and more players fall through the cracks of obscurity, and players have noticeably grown larger, counting over 1000 members only within the last week.
While others may think of this matter likely rather than the serious repercussions they reflect for the future, we should all realize that we are all just trying to make our experiences with the game all just a bit better, and while the simple things start to get ignored, so might as well the game itself.
Values Ed-2 By Kurowashi Aigoro
Recently, one of our most dedicated players, Anti, has informed that he will be in an indefinite hiatus, sighting personal problems. Anti has also been recently involved in numerous scandals ranging from pitiful squabbles to personal grudges within the game and on more personal levels and only he and others may know the extent. This only leaves me to wonder if Anti’s decision was anything other than personal.
Previously, I have made an article sighting only some of the ironic flaws the rules allow. After the misunderstanding Anti had with some of the current administrators, I feel it is well enough time to site some more flaws I have observed.
First off, I have also fell victim to some of the administrators, if not few, hurtful and often inappropriate words. Some not at all called for. People some times forget that others come from cultures and backgrounds that simply could not tolerate abusive behavior. It is one thing to be called something derogatory within role play and another to be belittled personally.
Often these small skirmish bleed out into something larger and really inappropriate. I am reminded of some sayings... “Who here that has without sin, throw the first stone.” Before pointing out someone’s faults, be civil enough to admit you’re won. Do onto others as you want them done onto you... we are all trying to have fun here, please don’t tell other people they ‘cant’ only because you don’t want them to.
Head Admin Elections By Konoshi Maria
Hazirami Retsu has had his thirty-one days sitting in the imperial office of the Head Admin. Now it is time for another election. There was almost no contest, but two rivals competed for the throne. Hazirami Retsu versus Maria Konoshi. The polls were very close, to a score of 12 to 13. Hazirami won the election once again. Although Maria lost, she still remains with Hazirami. Maria was put third in command above the other administrators and waits for the next election, thirty-one days. Bao Inuzuka was disqualified for reasons he agreed to. Hazirami still works in the Head Admin office today, the third head admin. And awaits for the next election, the next competition.
Manaan! By Konoshi Maria
Manaan, the village hidden by the Moon. Once again reveals itself. The Manaan village is based around politics, and power. The village mainly feeds on connections with other villages to ensure power among the fierce Akatsuki. The Manaan village is said to be only entered by a smalled gap, which is between a tree. "At a certain time at night it is visible, when the full moon strikes seven'o clock". The Manaan is still slightly weakened but is regenerating itself exteremly fast. The NaitoKage is dressed in his orange robe, his name his Nagato Fujibyashi.
Sensei Catastrophy By Konoshi Maria
People have had this strange feeling, like a stench floating in the air. The Jounin numbers have decreased to very slightly. But the recent outbreak of academy students and Gennin, is very harsh for the Jounin Senseis. Because of this, hundreds of Gennin are left unnattended. Hence, there meaning of the ninja is gone. Children work so hard to become what they were, but find that there is noone to teach them the way. Investigators think that the Jounin problem has occured either because of laziness or death. Another portion of the Jounins have passed on to the Sannins and Kages. And a lot are just plain busy with life itself. Konoha struggles to keep ahold of itself, yet the organized Hokage keeps it together cleanly. I hope that this will change, and more Jounin will appear to help the young.
Staff Renovations Written by NarutoReincarnate
Recently there has been a lot of new staff promotion and demotions. The staff has been lax and some have actually given up on the position. Recently I’ve been trying to fix all the holes and promote more work for the staff.
Inuzuka Bao: Bao was the previous admin that had recently became inactive as an admin, he would break rules to please his friends and refused to do work. He was also the cause of a few scandals. It was long past due that he was to be removed from the position, but I couldn’t bring myself to remove him due to his activity. I have recieved some skepticism for the move, but the admins all agree that it was time that it was done.
Anti: Even though some of us didn’t believe that we should give him the Super Mod position, we all wanted to give him a second chance. But when he continued his old behaviors, we saw that we had made a bad decision and removed him immediately from the position. When he continued, I decided to ban him for 2 days, and he continued to use a proxy to bypass the ban, I found it was time, and I banned him for good and deleted all of the accounts related to him.
Nagato Fujibyashi: He is the first ever member to be made an admin in one jump. Many people have been skeptical of the decision including a few of the staff members. But Nagato has since proven his worth and has made our decision a good one. He has increased his activity and even while still learning the system, he has been working hard. I’d personally like to congratulate him, he has done a very good job as replacement of Bao.
Kurowashi Aigoro: He was our Staff in Training and was recently promoted to the Mod position. He has earned the position.
Jeremyjh: He has been updated to the new Staff in Training in place of Aigoro.
A Look in the Admin Lounge By NarutoReincarnate
Here is this weeks look into the Admin Lounge where most of the action has been working towards staff renovations.
Weapons and Armor: We’ve decided its time to add Weapons and Armor to the game, but we still need to come up with new formula’s for items, after that we will need prices. Look forward to seeing these new items in the game.
Sensei Experience: We’d like to add a new idea for profession experience, starting with Sensei’s. This idea still has some flaws and is being worked out. The idea would basically give Sensei’s a side experience for their profession, and as they level up as a sensei, they’ll be able to do more to help their students. Hopefully this idea will be implemented in the future.
Anti’s Recent Ban and Deletion By NarutoReincarnate
At first thought, the return of a previous Head Admin and active member would sound great, even in the midst of some of his scandals. That’s what many of us thought when we saw him come back. So much as to try and bribe him to stay back by making him a staff member. We decided to make him a Super Mod and try to get him back into the position he so desired. Everyone deserves a second chance.
That’s what we all thought, and he wasn’t doing bad. But he thought it would be better to test the system and test the patience of the staff members and even some of the other members. He nearly brought the staff team to pieces with his argueing and Eki is in agreement that it was time to finally clean our hands of him, he also went on to say that if I hadn’t deleted and banned him first, he would’ve done it himself. _________________ Everyone that needs character updated, battle referee, or any other kind of help, pm me, I'm not a mind reader.
