Hello, lol Good timing too, I just finished the first part of my story.

Naruto-sensei What will we be doing today?

The tall man looked back at him, he was wearing the traditional garb of the hokage, his face was strong, his eyes, blue, the lines on the side of his face defined. He held out his hand and he formed a swirling ball of chakra.

This is what we’ll do today.

Hazirami looked at his sensei with excitement in his eyes. He was only 7 and already he was a chuunin, his abilities were sky rocketing and the fact that he was being trained even further by the Hokage was even more helpful.

The Rasengan ? You're finally teaching me the Rasengan WOO HOO

Naruto laughed, he was old and the wrinkles on his face twitched a little after every burst of air.

“Calm down, if you ever wish to defeat Yume, you’ll need to learn this skill. In fact, you’ll need to make it your own.”

“My own? How?”

Naruto winced as he forced his elemental chakra into his rasengan, the swirling ball turned green and parts of it expanded like a shuriken.

“WOW WHAT IS THAT?!?”

“Its called the Wind Shuriken Rasengan.”

Naruto dropped the power of the rasengan, his hand was bloody and mangled.

“I’m not supposed to use it, the power of it is supposed to kill me, but for sake of time, I needed to show it to you. I don’t have much time left in this world, I need you to learn to defend yourself because you will have much reason to defend yourself very soon.”

“Why?”

Naruto dropped his head.

“I’m not supposed to tell you, only time will tell. For now, follow my instructions.”

“Yes sensei.”

Naruto pulled out a balloon and a water bottle, he put the opening of the balloon to the top of the water bottle and poured in water until it was full. He held the balloon in his hand and forced chakra into it, the balloon quivered and then burst.

“You need to burst this balloon by spinning your chakra in the palm of your hand.”

Hazirami nodded.

Skip ahead in time 3 monthes.

Hazirami was standing there panting, he was scared for his sensei who was in the hospital now, old age was finally taking over him. Hazirami’s rasengan was spinning in his hand as he forced his own elemental chakra into it. He had to finish the technique before his sensei died. BOOM!!! Hazirami was sent back 20 feet by an explosion, his hand was seared and bits of red tinted chakra sparked from his hand. Hazirami got up and ran as fast as he could to the hospital.

“Sensei!!! I did it!!!”

Hazirami burst into the room, Naruto lay down, he slowly looked up at his student.

“Sensei, I did it!!! I forced my fire chakra into the rasengan, it exploded in my hand, look!!!”

Hazirami held his hand over Naruto’s face, the skin looked like it was going to peel.

“It blew up like a bomb!!!”

Naruto smiled.

“Very good, now you are ready. Please come in.”

The door behind Hazirami opened, Hazirami looked back confused. Three men walked into the room, one held a rag and a bottle in his hand.

“Whats happening?”

The man put the rag to the bottle and poured, he walked over to Hazirami and put the rag to his face. Hazirami began to get drowsy until he fell on the ground. The last thing he could see was Naruto nodding before the other two men picked him up.

The New Holder of the Kyuubi

Hazirami woke up on a bed. He looked over to his right and saw a body with the cover over the face. Hazirami got out of bed and walked over to it and pulled back the cover a bit and stopped when he saw the blonde hair he recognized as his sensei’s. Hazirami backed away and bumped into the bed, his legs collapsing under him as he landed on the bed, he put his hands to his face and began to cry. Hazirami could hear someone from outside the door, “Get here now, Hazirami is up, we can’t let him see Naruto.”

Hazirami jumped up and locked the door quickly and ran back to bed curled in a ball. He could hear the nurse banging on the door trying to get into the room.

“Open the door Hazi.”

“NO!!!”

“Now, or we’ll break it down.”

“Never!!!”

Hazirami jumped from his bed to Naruto’s and hugged his sensei’s dead body, he never wanted to let go. His tears ran down his face and landed on Naruto’s cheeks and rolled down the side of Naruto’s cheeks. Hazirami kept looking down at his sensei, it kept making him cry. He could hear the banging on the door getting louder until the door broke through, he could see two jounin coming towards him, Hazirami let go of Naruto and stood over him protecting his sensei like a dog would protect his dead owner.

“GO AWAY!!!”

“Hazirami get down, you’re defiling the Hokage.”

“No!!! You are!!! Go away!!!”

The jounin lunged at Naruto tackling him to the ground, Hazirami fought back. His arms flailing and hitting whatever got in the way, he couldn’t even remember the stuff he was taught anymore and simply fought on pure instinct now. He stood up and faced the jounin, his body was trembling and he could feel a new power within him.

“Leave me alone and leave.”

“No Hazirami, you’re coming with us.”

“Never!!!”

Hazirami charged at the jounin closest to him and as he tackled him he could feel the new power pushing through, red chakra began to seep from his skin. His body was weighed down with the new chakra and he collapsed to the ground as the chakra disappeared. The last thing he saw were the two jounin mumbling to eachother.

Breaking out of Depression

Hazirami sat looking at the mirror, staring at the lines on his cheeks, the same lines his sensei had, the lines from the kyuubi. From outside he could hear the nurses whispering about how he hasn’t left the room in 3 monthes. His skin was pale, his body weaker from refusing to eat unless they forced it down his throat. Recently, he had been recieving visits from some of the academy students wanting to know about Naruto. Hazirami didn’t want to talk to them, many were his age as well, but he did take a liking to one of the girls that always came in even though she was much older than him. Hazirami heard a knock at the door, he continued to ignore it until he heard from outside the voice of the girl. He blushed a little, but back up into the shadows of the corner and asked her to come in, he could hear the door creak as it opened and closed, and hear her footsteps as she walked closer to sit on the bed.

“Hi Kurayami-chan.”

“Hi Hazi, are you feeling any better?”

Hazirami looked down, his eyes following the weak outlines of his feet. He felt her hand touch his shoulder and he looked up to see her eyes looking deep at his own eyes.

“Hazi, you need to come out, the adults are worried about you.”

“The same adults that killed my sensei and turned me into this freak?”

“You’re not a freak, and you’re not alone.”

“What do you mean?”

Kurayami put her hands together and her body took the form of a fox, ears showing on her head and tail sprouted behind her.

“See, you’re not the only fox in this village.”

Hazirami smiled a bit and nodded.

“So will you come out, if not for the village, come out for me.”

“Alright I’ll go out.”

Kurayami jumped up from the bed and hugged him and grabbed his hand to pull him out, Hazirami had no choice but to follow, or more so, be dragged. As he was pulled out of the room, he could see out a window for the first time in 3 monthes, as he was dragged further, he saw some faces he hadn’t seen for 3 monthes. He saw the sun for the first time in 3 monthes, the light really hurt his eyes, and his skin felt the tingling of heat from the sun that it hadn’t felt in a long time.

“Well how do you like it?”

Hazirami looked over at Kurayami and actually saw her in a new light.

“I prefer the hospital room.”

Hazirami laughed and hugged her.

“Thanks for helping me.”

Kurayami smiled and hugged him back and then looked at him.

“So what you wanna do?”

“Eat some good food, that hospital food sucked...”

“Ichiraku’s?”

“YES!!!”

Hazirami began running towards where he remember Ichiraku’s to be. As he jumped on the roof, he stomped and yelled.

“GUESS WHO’S BACK?”

“My best customer!!!”

“Correct!”

Hazirami jumped down from the room and onto a seat at the counter.

“Welcome back Hazi, someone coming with you?”

“Yeah, she’ll be here in a second, I don’t think she’s as enthusiastic as me.”

Kurayami finally jumped down from the roof and sat in her seat.

“Is the ramen really that good to you?”

“Yep.”

Ichiraku looked down at Hazirami and smiled.

“So what will it be? Everything is on the house today because I want to celebrate you finally coming back.”

“What about Kurayami’s food?”

“Sure, why not?”

“I want everything on the menu!!!”

Ichiraku sighed.

“Can we renegotiated the everything on the house today rule?”

“Nope!!!”

A Tough Decision

“But we can’t make him a Hokage at his age, he is only 8, and he only ranks a chuunin!”

The man looked like he was about to jump up on the table and start a riot. His hair was white and frail and it was messy and spread out in many different directions, his eyebrows were long and white. His face had liverspots and in the balding area on the top of his head he had liverspots as well. The flab from the side of his face and the dark rings around the bottom of his eyes were a testament to his age and wisdom.

“He is too young, he’s sure to make a bad decision at his age, to add to it, he spent three monthes in mourning over Naruto.”

“That is Hokage to you.”

The man looked over to see a man not much different from himself sitting at the end of the table of five men and three women, each as old and frail as him. The man who spoke seemed to be the head of the group, and he wore a mask over the bottom part of his face, his hair was white and almost like a fang.

“Kakashi, you know he is too young for the job.”

“Well obviously Naruto didn’t, or he wouldn’t have suggested him to be the new Hokage. I raised Naruto like a son, and the man became more then I ever expected him to be. Naruto had to see something in the kid, or he wouldn’t have suggested him.”

“Well, yeah, maybe he has something, but at his age, that something will not show. We should wait until he is older.”

“We can’t wait, you should know already, Akatsuki is on the war path again, and we know that Eki will not stop this time, I am not fit for the job, and I will not take it. Hazirami must have the job of Hokage, or we will fail to fulfill Naruto’s last wish.”

“We’ll put someone else up until Hazirami is ready.”

“Then what do we tell that person? ‘Oh, I’m sorry, we only needed you until we could replace you with a child.’”

The man grimaced realizing what Kakashi said was the truth.

“Then what should we do, you know as well as I that the position of Hokage is not fit for a child.”

“We lead him until he has come of age, we will continue training him until he is strong enough to defend the village. He has the Kyuubi now, having him as the Hokage gives us some control over the beast, it’s the only good decision right now.”

The men and women of the table all nodded their head in agreement, but the man didn’t seem ready to step down from his arguement. Kakashi stepped up again.

“When I was still in my prime, training the children of today, there was hope in these children, the fire of Konoha was strong with that generation, but with this new generation, I see a fire, far stronger then the last. Under the rule of Hazirami, I can see the fire growing even stronger, Hazirami is the reincarnation of Naruto, and I’m sure its obvious to you, although now he is a child and still makes rash decisions, he will be ready in the future, its just a good thing that his start began under Naruto.”

The man sat down, finally convinced by Kakashi.

“Its settled then, beginning tomorrow, Hazirami is the new Hokage, send out a man to fetch the child, we must begin teaching him politics soon.”

A jounin at the door nodded and left the room.

Hazirami’s feelings

Hazirami sat in his single desk, his chin laying in the palm of his hand as his arm propped him up, another 3 monthes had gone by. He was excited that he was made Hokage, but he hated the politics so much. Now he felt that the classes were pointless. He sighed and turned his head to the window and looked down at the academy school where all his other friends were playing and getting stronger while he was at a standstill and learning nothing but politics.

“Hazirami. Hazirami. Hazirami!”

Hazirami jumped on the last time his name was called. Kakashi stood there in front of the chalk board frowning at him.

“You wanna explain to me what I just said?”

Hazirami tried looking at the board, but Kakashi was blocking the view from him, so Hazirami sighed with no clue of what was just said.

“No...”

“And why is that?”

“Politics aren’t fun, I wanna go play with my friends.”

“Well, you’re the Hokage now, you need to learn politics or you may be the one to lead Konoha to its death. Do you want to be that person?”

“No...”

“Then pay attention. Now I was speaking about...”

Hazirami lost his attention again and put his chin back in his palm again. Kakashi finally understood what the message was.

“Fine... Go.”

“You mean it?”

“Yes...”

“Woo hoo!!!”

Hazirami jumped from his seat and ran out the door, the last glimpse he caught of the room was Kakashi smiling. Hazirami ran from the room and burst through the doors as he ran through the streets of Konoha. Everywhere he went, people smiled and greeted him, each person Hazirami went to, he asked if they would play with him, they would only smile and shake their heads and send him along. Hazirami came up to the gates of the Academy students and grabbed the wire through the holes of the fence as he looked in on their outdoor training today. The teachers looked to see who was their and waved to him to come in. Hazirami smiled and jumped the fence as he ran towards the teacher. Marth was teacher today, he smiled as he spoke to Hazirami.

“So what is your business today Hokage-sama?”

“I’m bored and I want something to do...”

“Shouldn’t you be with Kakashi?”

“No, he said I could go and play.”

“Then why aren’t you playing?”

“All of my friends are in class with you, so I thought I’d come here and train with them.”

“But you’re far above the level they are.”

“So...”

“Then why train with them?”

“Because they’re my friends.”

“Alright, its kunai practice today, how about you teach them today?”

“Me teach them?”

“Yeah, it would be an honor.”

Hazirami smiled as he pulled out a kunai and jumped to the side of the stumps and waited for the next person to throw their kunai. The next person to throw their kunai was a girl named Maria Konoshi. Hazirami threw his kunai and intercepted hers with his own, the two hit and sparked as they flew apart. This caught the attention of all the students and Hazirami smiled.

“Marth wants me to teach you today, I was wondering if that would be alright with you?”

A unanimous “Yes!!!” erupted from each of the children, and Hazirami smiled as he began to teach them about the power and technique that must be put into throwing a kunai and from different distances. He smiled each time he saw a student hit the mark and helped teach those who didn’t hit the mark. He began to take likings to a few of the students, Maria Konoshi, Nagato Fujibyashi, Kentaarza, and Towashin Kishimoto. Each of them hit the mark everytime they threw a kunai, he also helped the ones who had trouble, Kelsey, Karon, and Yume.

“You need to use your body with the throw, not just your arm.”

Hazirami showed them and smiled when his kunai hit the bulls-eye.

“Now you try.”

Hazirami smiled as each of them hit and smiled further when they all cheered at their victory.

“After class, any of you guys wanna play Hide and go seek? We’ll use the whole village!!!”

Everyone smiled and agreed but they all pointed at Hazirami.

“You’re it!!!”
