History:

Early Childhood:
In the confines of a room within the Uchiha clan, the first twins ever born to Uchiha were delivered to a widowed mother. The first twin, whilst being born, kicked his identical brother to death. The baby, unusually docile, remained silent as his mother sobbed at the loss of her second son. His mother, died three days afterwards, leaving the baby alone, without father or mother. The baby was found later that same week, starving, he was put in care of the Hyuuga clan, raised alongside many others shunted aside by the main branch. During the wipeout of the Uchiha clan, he was left out, hidden within the walls of Hyuuga.

Life as an Academy Student: Because his origin was unknown to him, and he wasn’t a true Hyuuga, went by the name the Third Hokage bestowed him, Kagetora. He excelled at most everything the academy could throw at him, and graduated as soon as he was allowed.

Genin: He was not assigned a team, but rather trained separately, because of the strange heritage of his near extinct clan. The village wary that his identity might be exposed hid him, from everyone, including himself. Even though the secrecy, he was trained by other survivors of the Uchiha massacre. At the age of 7, his sharingan appeared. As soon as it revealed itself, his sharingan had three-tomoe. He was treated as a freak of nature by some, most likely out of fear, and all the others had his appraisal for such early mastery of the sharingan. Nearly two days later, he developed a Mangekyou, which the Hokage speculated he had because he kicked his brother to death during birth. His mangekyou was blue, the reason behind, the Hokage thought, was that he had not obtained it through the lust of power but through an accident. Once he learned about this, he sought out the body of his dead brother and plucked out the eyes.

Eternal mangekyou (Kagetora): Iridescent blue eyes with the wheels of a devil. Kagetora had obtained the eternal mangekyou without causing suffering to others. The only ability yet found by him, was that he could control the shape Amaterasu assumed.

Note: Even though he found his true name, he goes only by Kagetora.

It doesn't really alter the storyline, although it does create some stuff yet unsaid about the sharingan.
