Ok, I don't know how to put this lightly, so I'll just be honest.

Shouldn't there be introduced some sort of bloodline control system? Right now it's like 40% of Konoha's population is Uchicha which, apart from being emo, is rather... extinct...

I really try to pass over the fact I consider Sasuke mass-cloning lame, but it also sorta lacks logic, unless Sasuke wasn't... you know, tied to a bed for populating purposes...

Errr well.... the past dimension was kinda different I think but right now I don't know. My Character Amnael was Madara Uchiha's son until he found out he was just a clone.

Well, I had an idea concerning making new characters, but it's kinda controversial.

The first, very first thing, before even the char is created, could be a random roll on the bloodline.
Pros:
- controlled bloodline balance (no future incest )
- game staying NNRPG, instead of becoming NURPG ;-) (as in Uchicha)
- connection to logic
- random factor in character creation which, at least to me, is always a good thing.
Cons:
- probable change in the general idea of who the our character is

haha well actually Uchiha was like the Clan that was very active so most people would see it as easy to join but Senju was a little complicated and I didn't know how to construct properly though there many ideas that were'nt completed

Hmm, I never Joined Uchiha...I was Madoka or Senju. Honestly I can not find a reason why most want to be Uchihablindly. That being said there use to be a population control by only allowing 10 People max to be in any one clan. If another person wanted to join, they could claim the "Name" but not the "Bloodline". Then if they wanted the "Bloodline" they would have to battle a member of that "Bloodline". The win would be in and the loser would be out. That being said, we could always do population control but just flat saying no more than 5 people may possess the same Bloodline...because personal if I was RRed into a Bloodline I don't particularly like....I would re-roll my character or my Interest in the character would be down, like if I somehow got RRed into Uchiha......

Edit P.S. You are right Amnael, I made the Teired Senju difficult so that I did not have a lot of people wanting into it.

I fear that Teppic is right about having too many Uchiha's and this problem should be addressed...

But we can't just tell people they are not allowed to have a character they want, can we?

Yes we can. What would the point be in having 80% of the site Uchiha? That would give us no diversity. Even in Canon lore they did not have the "Largest" Clan, but they had the same size as most the other clans.

So, what are your thoughts on RR the bloodline? It might be done AFTER the char is created and before writing his/her history...

01-40 - no kanon bloodline
41-50 - Aburame family bloodline
51-60 - Nara family bloodline
61-70 - Hyuuga family bloodline
71-80 - Yamanaka family bloodline
81-88 - Senju family bloodline
89-95 - Uchicha family bloodline
96-97 - mix of 2 of the above
98-100 - your own bloodline (kekkei genkai allowed!)

I'm not a fan of random roll bloodline, as people will be forced to play a character they do not like.

Then it might be something else... Let's say, player declares he wants the char to be an Uchicha. You make a RR based on a chart below. If the outcome is within the required percentage, his char is an Uchicha. If the outcome is anything other, he isn't, but he can create some common bloodline, one without kekkei genkai. Hm?

CHART:
Aburame family bloodline - 35% chance
Nara family bloodline - 35% chance
Hyuuga family bloodline - 30% chance
Yamanaka family bloodline - 25% chance
Senju family bloodline - 15% chance
Uchicha family bloodline - 15%chance

Because they are not rolled at the same time!

1. Person says he/she wants to be of a certain bloodline, for example Hyuuga.
2. You (or anyone permitted for that matter) RR the chance for the person to be a Hyuuga, which is 30% (1-30 on a 100 RR)
3a. The RR shows something between 1-30, which is a success - the person's char is a Hyuuga.
3b. The RR shows something else, like 57, which is a fail - the person's char is not a Hyuuga, or any other special bloodline. He just invents him/herself some surname.

Hmmm...this would seriously deter me from playing any bloodline or even creating my own. I am not a fan of RRing a bloodline. If I am building a character and wish to be Hyuga...then my entire backstory, the way my character is built, and even my description may be based on this choice of Bloodline.
