Hair Color/Style: His short golden brown hair is kept in a short tousled hairstyle which is a longer cut than the crew cut that features his hair styled in a messy fashion in certain areas. This produces a textured, unruly look that is opposite of the sleek, smooth style. Because of his golden brown color, while he is in bright light it can sometimes look as bright as dark blonde and when he is in dark settings, it can look like a normal mouse brown.
Skin Color/Complexion: His skin is unblemished with a coloring of light intermediate much like a well tanned person. Since his skin naturally looks like this (much like a dark skinned European) tanning provides no change in his skin coloration. He does have freckles along his body. Often he looks darker than what he really is because he dislikes taking baths. While not stinky, dirt is always found on him.
Appearance: Yoichi has a body that is slim and short for a person his age. His head appears to be the right size for his body proportion thou his neck seems to be really short. You can tell that his legs are slightly longer than his arms and he has small hands and feet. His arms and core have well developed and refined muscles from the 3 hours daily he practices his swordsmanship and akido. Despite his training though, Yoichi succumbs to illness fairly easily and has been known to catch a cold even in the heat of the summer. He never frowns in public believing that it is more of a waste of energy than a needed act. He has a smell of a calm, crisp breeze rolling off of a cold lake about him from the twice daily baths and the scented salts used in them and on his clothes. His skin, while fair if dirty, always feels slightly like fine sand paper. Other than the hair on his head, not a single follicle of hair adorns any other place on his body. His voice still carries a slightly high pitch denoting his your age but his words are well formed and he often sounds as if he is talking to a subordinate than an equal or superior.
Yoichi wears a non-formal styled kimono both on mission and off mission. His off-mission Kimono is styled in dark greens and blues in a diamond cross-hatched patter. His fundoshi is the only off colored item on him being colored dark black. His hakama is colored in dark hunter green that shares it's color with the leaves that fall from the Maple Trees in his families clan grounds. His haroi provides a sky balance to his earth hakama. It is dark blue matching the midnight sky on a full moon with his families crest and name across his back in pure white. The haori-himo is black to easily blend into the green and blue and not to detract from the main outfit. His obi is a narrow 5cm (2in) wide sash of dark blue with stitches of silver simulation stars on the night sky. In place of the standard netsuke, he always wears his katana on his left side. He wears a pair of black jika-tiba and a set of geta made from the same maple wood growing in his families grounds. During missions he wears the same styled clothing except colored black if the mission calls for it, otherwise he keeps his normal coloring.
Weapon(s): 刀 / Katana. This weapon has a slender, curved, single edged blade forged in the Soshu Kitae style. It is 73cm (28.7in) long and the steel has been tinged a dark steel-blue color thanks to the clay slurry used on the blade during the forging process. The handle is made of two solid maple pieces bound together with counter sunk screws. The tsuka is wrapped in 2 cm wide, .5 cm thick stands of black leather wrapping in a close cross-hatched patter. The habaki is made of polished steel that gives the blade its only shine. The tusba is made of dull black steel that is a solid peace extending 4cm from the Katana to protect the weilders hands. The sageo uses the same black leather as the tsuka and the saya is lacquered a dull black over the solid maple wood to match the leather used on the sword.

Combat Power: Iaido
Yoichi has been studying the way of the Katana since he was six. In the five years he has been practicing, he has learned the basics of strikes, blocks, parries, and combinations. He has developed his own way of fighting based on these principals and it is a quick styled routine that does not have an easy flowing look to it. The emphases in this technique is to go from the starting stance or hold to the end of he move quickly, giving the opponent little time to think or react. Often times, the maneuvers are held until it is almost to late to execute.
Limits: His sword attacks only work in close range. Any long range projectile is difficult to block and if it is small, senbon size, then it is virtually impossible for him to block. He lacks the experience of a seasoned fighter. After 5 minutes of fighting he shows signs of fatigue and after ten minutes of fighting he is useless. This time can double if he is fighting only on the defensive.
Side-Effects: Yoichi always carries a Katana.
Combat Power: Kenjutsu
Through the use of his mind, spirit, and blade Yoichi has devolped several kenjutsu that use his blade and his chakra to enhance his fighting style.
Limits: Can only be used with a Katana. Yoichi only has enfough chakra to use four Kenjutsu and/or Ninjutsu per battle. Samuraiseibā - Using this Kenjutsu, Yoichi feeds his chakra into his Katana and extends both the reach and cutting ability of the blade. For every minute of use, it uses one use of a Kenjutsu and/or Ninjutsu per battle. Ken Rendan - Yoichi uses this Kenjutsu to temporally lighten his Katanas weight and strikes several times in rapid succession. Katanau~ōru - As a last ditch effort, Yoichi takes a modified useage of the Ken Rendan and makes a four foot wide, six foot tall wall of steel for three seconds. This wall is made by him rapidly moving his Katana in this shape. This is a single direction facing wall and once used, Yoichi can not change the location of the wall. This is the only way for him to block several projectiles of small projectiles used against him.

Limits: All of his ninjutsu are self-use ninjutsu that effect his body. Yoichi only has enfough chakra to use four Kenjutsu and/or Ninjutsu per battle.

Battle Strengths: Swordsmanship is good, hand to hand is ok.
Battle Weaknesses: No Ranged combat ability. Focused only on enemy in front of him, ignores friends and other enemies unless they are in his field of vision.
