I just got finished watching this anime. And damn my sympathy!

I actually started crying at the end of it!

The main character appears randomly at a high school with amnesia. Turns out that high school is a waystation to the afterlife. A group of "students" is fighting against a girl called "Angel" in order to avoid being "obliterated". Attending classes and acting normal is a sure fire way to get "obliterated".

They're "stuck" there because they all had a hard life without much upsides when they died.
