So... there are permanent summons, once you summon one time and they stay... and non-permanent where they can be unsummoned, and spirits that you need to be consious to keep in play...

Anyone know what Im talking about? Is there a list of laws some where about summons?

I guess, from that, we can deduce that there are 3 major summon types...

Animals
Weapons
Spirits (Monsters)

would Kirin and Susanoo fall under this category?

Kirin is just a Lightning Technique made from real lightning, it is not and has never been a summoning.

Susanoo is a Clan Specific Technique utilizing a Bloodline. It is technically summoning.
