Another blow landed hard upon the jaw of the opponent, sending him flying across half the distance of the battle stadium. A roar of support from clansmen cheered in delight. It was quite notable how each clan supported their kin in the battles, giving pride and prestige to their own. Polarized between the seats, it was also evident which and how clans tolerated each other.
The Fire Clan’s supporters sat at the far right of the stadium, Earth Clan supporters between Fire Clan and Water Clan, while Wind and Lightning Clans sat together at the far Left. The Kage sat at the highest point at the stadium as he surveyed the fighting capabilities of each clan representative.
After all, this was the measure to attest which Clan was the best. The tournament raged on until only six participants were left. Each clan still had a representative while Water Clan had two. It was the first time the tournament had such a turn out where each clan still had stake in who could be crowned the winner of this years tournament.
The crowed cheered louder for each of their representatives. The Kage grew concerned, while he felt this might start a riot if uncontrolled sooner. Holding his hand up, the Kage tried to draw attention to himself and try to rest the stadium audience. With another hand gesture, he signaled for the rest of the battle to begin.
With other cheer, the matches continued.
