Light+Lelouch VS L+Near

Near is on the same anime as L and is his successor. I woulda thought you knew that.

Well ofcourse i knew that, and i wasn't trying to do so.

There are 3 geniuses in death note, and 1 in code geass, so logically i paired Light and Zero as they are the most similar, and Near and L as they are the most similar.

Now answer the poll question

Hmm. . . this is a hard one.

Light was doing really well until he screwed up near the end. Near caught him due to further planning. Lelouch probably could have couched Light further and helped him double check each step he made.

But then again, if you combine both L and Near's intellect and focused planning, they could have overcome Lelouch's own planning and thrown them off track.

On the other hand, if Lelouch foresaw L using the trick with the TV broadcast on the first couple episodes and prevented Light from acting on it, then things could have taken a wild turn and I can't predict what would happen after that.

I got to say light and lelouch but thats only if they would work together they went 2 different directions in life. Other wise the other team would win

Dead post but I have to comment now that I have been reading through the topic.

Wolvzo, Light isn't necessarily evil. All he is doing is killing/punishing evil and bringing what he calls justice. If anything he is actually neutral. His goal does seems to get abit...let's say off-track as he seems to become mad with power and aspires to be a God. He only appears to be evil because he uses Misa for his own gain and seems to kill anyone in his way. Okay, he was actually defending himself and kind of fighting for his life but is that an excuse?

In reality he does appear to have become sadistic in some cases but I think that he is neutral really but just does things that are evil. After all he's evil to be good.....It's like that saying: "I'm being cruel to be kind".

In my opinion Lelouch and Light would both win because even though L/Ryuzaki is pretty crazily smart he does seem to tend to over look things. As for near well he had help of that other guy (I've actually forgotten his name).

I`ve read this topic around the time I`ve join the site. I didn`t post anything here because I don`t watch Code Geass and I don`t know enough of Lelouch.
I did watch the first episode of the show though, didn`t think I would like it so I stopped there.

Anyhow, here I post.

I think the best comparison for Light is... Robin Hood. He label his goal as justice, because those that are in the losing end is evil according to the new commandments that Moses presented in a version of an event in a bible. I honestly can`t remember those ten things at the moment... aww.
I don`t really want to say but it`s the only example I can think of: Adolf Hitler attempt to kill all those who follow jewish-ism yet he was jewish himself, if he kills all the jewish then he would be the only one left that`s true. However, jewish-ism is a religion and as long as he doesn`t pass on the teachings then his goal would be fulfilled at his death.
So, whatever you may say, Light would had rid of all evil at his death in that sense. Also, in the sense that Light is evil himself, he would not think about the events that may happen after his existence. Because at the mind of evil, justice in not fully understood and vise-versa. He wanted to do justice and so he did in an evil way, killing and becoming a god.
The opposite of Justice is Evil. I don`t want to go into more detail than that in particular.


Though not as creative, Light is a god by definition. God is to have the power to create and destroy. Light possesses the death note so that is a power of destruction and, when taking into animal symbolism, he is a crow the secret magic of creation. Using power of destruction in the same form as creation (using death to create a new world) he is god.

Light and L are at the same level. The reason why L lost may because, in the (typically known in U.S.A.) bible, it was based on the story of the fallen angel Light being God (forgot name of him but it start with, "Y") and L being Lucifer. Other than that, it would be a draw between L and Light.
I do not know much of Lelouch though, again going into animal symbolism, he may be a wolverine understanding true meaning of battle (think it is exactly that but I could be mistaken). Since it is comparable to a badger which is, the animal symbolism of, L.


Mello was who had help Near, the two were rivals. Near was consider above Mello because it was said that Near`s logic is closer to L`s and the goal was to become the secession ward L.

Now that I think of the poll, Near`s goal was to become the next L so the two are similar as far as only logic goes Near being under. And Lelouch being, in sense a wolverine, comparable ward L that is a badger Lelouch being under. Near and Mello worked together to bring lone Light under. So Light and L working together would be more powerful. Assuming Near is similar but under L and Mello is similar but under Light considering the teamwork took down one that`s above (Light).
Crow + Wolverine vs. Badger + lesser-Badger. Wolverine being comparable to Badger, though Badger is same level as Crow. I would think Badger more vary-capable so in the sense of that, Crow and Badger both out does Wolverine. Wolverine and lesser-Badger both under Crow and Badger, in sense that lesser-Badger is under Badger. Crow is same level as Badger so Crow above lesser-Badger.
But, Wolverine vs. lesser-Badger... Wolverine is comparable ward Badger but because of Badger being vary-capable it is above Wolverine, in that sense. Wolverine being compared to Badger though lesser-Badger being similar to Badger. Wolverine would be above lesser-Badger. If there was lesser-Wolverine then it would be under lesser-Badger but since there isn`t lesser-Wolverine...
Since Badger and lesser-Badger are similar, lesser-Badger would be not much help for badger in heightening power. Like brother and sister, both have similar genes so they won`t make much of a good baby (Bader and lesser-Badger). But brother and somebody else`s sister has more different genes so they would make a proper baby (Crow and Wolverine).


In that sense, Light + Lelouch above L + Near.
